In June 2023 the Lowitja Institute hosted the 3rd International Indigenous Health and Wellbeing Conference that was held over a 3-day period on Gimuy-walubarra Yidi people country in Cairns, QLD, Australia.

The conference featured keynote presentations from local and international speakers, daily concurrent sessions, exhibitors and poster presentations, a rich cultural and social program and opportunities to network and connect with your peers, under the theme: Truth, Rights, Response.
